Course Duration: The course will be offered over 2 x 5 hour workshops
THIS IS NOT A COURSE ABOUT WEIGHT MANAGEMENT OR WHAT TO EAT
IT IS A COURSE TO HELP YOU TO BE FULLY PRESENT IN YOUR CHOICES IN WHAT AND HOW YOU EAT. IN ADDITION TO KNOW HOW TO WORK WITH YOUR PSYCHE AND PROGRAM YOUR BRAIN TO CHANGE ANY EATING HABITS
I am excited to introduce this course, it is designed to deepen your awareness and provide tools to assist you in your journey of adopting a lifestyle of choice.Most importantly it is designed to create a helpful, accepting and compassionate space to explore and understand how to use mindfulness and the latest understandings in Neuroscience to establish the behaviour and attitude you would prefer to your food and meals.

- Become mindful of how, why and what you eat in a way that will allow you to take more control of urges and cravings.
- Our eating often represents a mindless habit that when we attempt to change it can results in us feeling we have become over-focused on food.
- Learn how to work with our psyche to help prevent it from wanting to sabotage the process.
A Mindful approach will empower you to become more aware with compassion of your patterns in a way that allows you to take control and reduce or eliminate the effects of sabotage.
The course is one of learning from each other and applying mindfulness principles to daily life. It is limited to a maximum of 10 group members only. You will create your own survival and mindfulness journal as part of this course to allow you to maintain your journey.
Time is given for mindful practice and reflection. There is home practice set and you will be helped to understand how to start the process of re-training your brain to take on a new mind-space when approaching your health and lifestyle.

BYO lunch, light refreshments offered for breaks. Please indicate dietary requirements.
Cost: The cost of the course is $200 for the 2 workshops. If you have a Mental Health Plan a Medicare rebate of $31.65 is applicable per workshop.
*PLEASE NOTE: If you miss a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances unfortunately no refunds will be made and Medicare cannot be claimed for the unattended workshop.
